Undergraduate Environmental Justice Theses

The Critical Ecology Lab has partnered with Dr. Stevie Ruiz, Associate Professor in Chicana and Chicano Studies Department at California State University, Northridge, to offer a service learning opportunity for undergraduate students.

During the Fall 2020 semester, Suzanne and Kunal worked with two senior students who developed essays and topic briefs related to CEL projects.

Woojin Chae (CSUN ‘20) wrote a scientific literature review on atmospheric particulate matter and its impacts on urban and rural human populations.
